Funded a groundbreaking randomized controlled trial of radioactive seed localization, the largest trial of its kind in the United States.

Outreach Programs
Offering life -saving, free of charge mammography screenings for underinsured women with a state -of -the-art mobile unit that travels areas of the greatest need -includes follow up care.
The Pink House - Supporting a gathering place that provides fellowship, information, mentoring & assistance to breast cancer patients and survivors along with their families.
Charis Breast Cancer Fellowship in the Department of Surgical Oncology at LCI
- Funding for 1 surgeon trained annually.
Supporting women locally with free wigs, bras & gift baskets.
Funding for wearables including Lymphedema sleeves & bras, as well as free Pilates classes for breast cancer patients post surgery to heal mind and body
Sponsored event held bye Atrium Health to support patients and their care givers.
